So, I probably should have mentioned which APs I'm taking. Last year, my sophomore year, I only took one, American Government and Politics. Which intense studying and work, I managed to eek out a 5. This year, who knows how things will go when I'm pulled in five directions. This year, my AP classes are:
US History - Oh, APUSH, the backbone of AP society, the class most people end up taking, my least favorite subject. Don't get me wrong, I loooooove history. I'm just not particularly interested in learning about the revolutionary period to the present in the United States when there were so many fascinating things going on elsewhere in the world.

Welcome to the AP Survival Guide!
Welcome to the AP Survival blog, by your's truly, Megan. As a high school junior, I've felt the positive pressure to sign up for AP classes. However, after the first two weeks of school, my three AP courses quickly turned into five. This blog is less of an advice column and more of a narrative of my journey through this school year, navigating the rocky sea that is preparing for the AP exams. Just think of it as "The Odyssey of Megan: AP edition." From homework to guidebook shopping to nervous breakdowns to exams, I'll blog it all. I'm not promising it will all be interesting. I'm not even sure if anyone will want to read it. Still, it's a cathartic experience for me to get some of this out there, and if you find it informative or entertaining, feel free to join me on my voyage.
